The Bill (Reg. No.3421) establishes general requirements concerning safety of production in order to enhance protection of consumers´ rights.
However, the domain of authorities of the central executive bodies by execution of governmental control and supervision over the safety of production, as well as the procedure of such supervision, are already defined at the legislative level. Therefore, the Committee members believe that introduction of new procedures of control and supervision will destabilize execution of governmental control and supervision over the production safety, and result in the duplication of functions of specially authorized executive bodies, which will substantially complicate conduct of economic activity.
The Committee recommends that the Bill be adopted as a basis with account taken of the introduced remarks and motions.
